Part of the Star Wars Annual Collection, a yearly returning project featuring Art Nouveau aesthetics used to highlight the uniqueness of the Star Wars world for its anniversary.
Designed to bring daily inspiration into your every day life and make your favourite spaces feel even more special, this collection started as an effort to dive deeper into the style that fuelled me with inspiration every time I crossed my eyes on: Art Nouveau.
ART MILESTONE:
This piece belongs to the first big bundle I created last year (2024) for the anniversary of Star Wars, it was originally inspired by a sketch I made for a commissioned work - I ran several trials and presented my top three ideas to the customer, and she ended picking another variant.
Luckily for me that I was in love with this one, I was able to fully develop this sketch and make a two-piece set for this annual edition. The frame design is matching his counterpart: Vader in regret.
Paired together, they contrast different, opposite feelings. A calm scene with the beautiful Padme, with gorgeous sights of the Naboo lakes, in one of her iconic dresses VS the chaotic, painful anger of Vader, who's facing his big inner wounds, mistakes and regrets.
